North Central Community Gardens
NCCA Community Gardens are located on the 13-block of Rae, Retallack, Robinson and Garnet. The Community Gardens are one of the programs that are part of the Central Zone Board Programs. Total 4 plots. Grow Regina was asked in May to assist in planting a community garden on a vacant lot in the 1300 block of Rae Street. After much work by a few Grow Regina members, the garden site was cultivated and vegetables planted on June 2nd. The support from the local community towards this initiative was excellent. We hope that the garden is bountiful.
